Neal Kinsey of Kinsey Agricultural Services, Inc. visited Belize in February 2016 to give his course titled: Albrecht-Kinsey Method Soil Fertility Course. Limbe Managers took the time to learn more about the benefits of lime stone (also known as agriculture lime or white lime) and the best ways of making use of it in Belizean agriculture.

Fernando Majil is the Farm Manager of Freshwater Creek Farms, Ltd., a 705 acre farm where they grow teak plants, landscaping plants, pineapples, papayas, coffee, mahogany, and citrus. With Limbe you’re not working with some lime stone re-seller. Instead you’re working directly with the manufacture so that you get the best deal possible. We have our own lime stone quarry in Spanish Lookout, Belize. In the video above, you’ll see how we make the following four products:

  • 4 inch and bigger rocks that are often used for corrosion.
  • 2-4 inch stones that are of high quality and used to make a solid foundation or a strong, solid road.
  • 1.5 inches and smaller rocks, which we call Road Material. This is great for landscaping or if you want to fix your yard. Plus, this road material can have your landscaping looking beautiful.
  • And finally, White Lime. This is the main product that we supply. This product is under 2mm. White lime is often called Agricultural Lime or Ag Lime.
